Our Treatments
With a background in Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine and Sports Therapy, On Point Natural Medicine will assess and diagnose your condition before deciding the most effective treatment for the best results and recovery.

Acupuncture – Classical/Modern
The insertion of thin, sterile, single-use steel needles into precise points and areas of the body, known as ‘acupuncture points’.
On Point Natural Medicine uses three acupuncture techniques –
Tung and Tan, a classical Chinese style.
Motor Point and Dry Needling, a modern style treating musculoskeletal conditions.
Electro – Acupuncture, a modern method combining needling with electro currents.

Soft Tissue Therapy
Soft Tissue Therapy Treatments
In some cases, we use these methods to assist with your Acupuncture treatment. Soft tissue therapy is not offered as a stand-alone treatment.
Soft Tissue Therapy involves creating tension in a specific direction on the skin and passively moving the body in different ways to help improve muscle, nerves, joint function and reduce pain.

Diet and Lifestyle
At On Point Natural Medicine, we believe Chinese Medicine provides a unique understanding of nutrition and how to eat well for a healthy life.
We share this knowledge with you during your treatments. This includes patient specific foods to avoid or add to your diet, and life style practices to help you achieve optimal health.

Pulse Diagnosis & Herbal Medicine
Specialised and customised individual tailored treatments
Every patient at On Point Natural Medicine is assessed individually and no two cases are treated the same. We use a very unique method of pulse diagnosis to determine the cause of your symptoms and develop your herbal prescription. This diagnostic skill is incredibly accurate. Our herbs are of the highest quality, safe and Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved.

On Point Natural Medicine clinic is more than just Acupuncture and Herbs, it’s about the experience from the moment you walk in the door and well after you leave. You will feel empowered to take control of your health, and discover how capable the body is to repair itself.
Initial Consultation
At this session a full health history and assessment is taken to find the cause of your condition and develop a treatment plan specific to you. This may include asking in-depth questions, taking your pulse, looking at your tongue, ear, face and eyes, assessing your posture and orthopaedic testing.
Diagnosis & Treatment
On assessment we will devise your specific treatment plan which may include a combination of Acupuncture, Soft Tissue, Diet and life style changes, Herbs, Exercises and mindfulness techniques.
Monitoring Progress
Although results are often seen in a short amount of time and can be significant, we usually recommend weekly treatments in the beginning to monitor your progress. At follow up sessions we will discuss your progress and continue to tailor your treatments where needed for best results.

Tennis elbow (epicondylitis)
Got pain in your funny bone?
There’s nothing ‘humerus’ about elbow pain – otherwise known as ‘epicondylitis’ or tennis elbow. But here is something to put a smile on your face: research shows acupuncture can be helpful in easing epicondylitis.
What exactly is tennis elbow?
Epicondylitis is commonly referred to as tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, or – my new favourite – mouse elbow (relating to computer mice, not Mickey). Considered an ‘overuse condition’, epicondylitis causes pain in either the inner or outer part of the elbow.
What are the causes of tennis elbow?
Tennis elbow (or epicondylitis) is caused by repeated contraction of the forearm causing tiny tears in the tendon that attaches to the elbow.
Let’s Talk About Healthy Breakfast!
Desperate to find a breakfast that isn’t a bowl of sugar but also doesn’t require a sous chief to prepare, I stumbled across quinoa puffs and came up with this super simple recipe.
The first meal of the day is an important one – we haven’t eaten for at least 10 hours and our digestive system is ready and raring to go. With the right food, we start the day clear headed, with lots of energy to get us to lunch (without the hangrys), sugar lows, and brain fog that comes with eating the standard packaged cereals.
Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture: An Introduction to Traditional Healing Practices
Chinese medicine is a holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on the body’s natural healing ability. It is based on the concept of qi (pronounced chee) and blood, which is the life force energy that flows through the body. According to Chinese medicine, illness and disease occur when qi and blood is blocked or unbalanced. Chinese medicine uses various techniques to restore the balance and flow of qi and blood including acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary therapy, and exercise.
The Digestive System and How to Keep It Healthy
The most common problems of the digestive system include heartburn, belching, bloating, constipation and diarrhea. These problems can be caused by stress, lack of exercise, poor diet, food intolerances or allergies, medications and some diseases. Heredity also can play a role in some digestive disorders.
Long-term stress and your immune Health

Endometriosis is a chronic women’s condition
Endometriosis is a chronic condition that can not only cause severe pain felt in unpredictable places, but often comes on with severe fatigue, nausea, headaches and mood changes. It can be sudden, relentless and affect your day-to-day life. I know, sounds horrible, but there are things that can be done to help.
Post Partum Depression
Postpartum depression means depression after child birth and many women experience the ‘baby blues’ and feel sadness or an empty feeling after they give birth.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Carpal tunnel syndrome is not the ‘tingle’ you want waking you in the middle of the night. Sometimes called CTS, carpal tunnel syndrome can start as numbness and tingling…
TMJ pain
TMJ pain can be excruciating, and it’s even worse when you don’t know what’s causing it. You can experience, constant aching to severe pain, headaches, foggy/stuffy head, nerve pain, neck pain, difficulty eating, talking, and even focussing.
