Adrian's Transformative Acupuncture Journey in Thailand

His first stop was Bangkok, Thailand where he was fortunate to be given the opportunity to spend 3 years in a busy Acupuncture Clinic within the Phramongkutklao Hospital. He worked alongside Dr Prackobchai MD who shared his knowledge of Master Tung style acupuncture. Adrian was able to see a large volume of patients per day in a hospital setting. It was during this time that Adrian witnessed the body’s amazing ability to heal itself, with the right treatment. This experience led to the in depth study and practice  of the ancient family lineage system of Tung’s style acupuncture and Dr Richard Tan’s balance method, which produces fast and immediate results. While living in Thailand, Adrian also travelled to Beijing, China in 2013 for an intensive training course with Dr Wang Ju Yi, an esteemed acupuncturist.

Adrian's Mastery in Pulse Diagnostics

It was when Adrian stumbled across practitioners Robert Doane and Dr Jimmy Chang (Zhang Wei Yan) that he learnt the incredible pulse diagnostic system created by Dr Zhang Wei Yan. This system has the ability to tell what is going on with someone’s health without them sharing a single clue, and clearly shows the underlying cause of a patient’s condition. Adrian interned with Robert Doane in 2013 and Dr Zhang Wei Yan in Los Angeles back in 2013, and  is committed to perfecting his reading of the pulse to help heal patients.

ENEAL

Deepening Insights with Dr. Edward Neal

While living in the USA, Adrian worked  at a busy Dr Richard Tan style acupuncture clinic in Times Square, New York City. He also spent 1.5 years immersed in classical teachings with Dr Edward Neal, an emergency physician and leader in translating classical Chinese medical texts.

Finally, Adrian studied a unique orthopaedic acupuncture and functional assessment called Exstore developed by Anthony Lombardi, a sports and orthopaedic specialist who teaches how to quickly diagnose painful conditions and treat them accurately and effectively.

Adrian has learnt how to treat a wide range of complex cases in all areas of health using advanced techniques from these mentors.

Pulse Diagnosis & Chinese Herbal Medicine

Pulse diagnosis is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) technique used to assess a person’s overall health and well-being by feeling the pulse at the wrist.

Practitioners believe that the pulse can reveal a great deal about a person’s health, including their organ function, blood and energy flow, and emotional state.

Adrian Taricani has trained in pulse diagnosis with the incredible Dr Zhang Wei Yan and Dr Robert Doane for the past 8 years.

Adrian Taricani has dedicated himself to mastering this technique.

Acupuncture Classical and Modern

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) practice that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body.

The needles are believed to stimulate the flow of qi (pronounced “chee”), or vital energy and blood, which is thought to be essential for good health.

There are two main types of acupuncture: classical and modern.

Classical acupuncture is based on the principles of TCM, while modern acupuncture is based on Western scientific understanding of the body.

Soft Tissue Therapy in Newcastle N.S.W

Soft tissue therapy

Soft tissue therapy is a valuable technique that can enhance the effectiveness of your acupuncture treatment.

This approach involves creating tension in a specific direction on the skin and passively moving the body in different ways. By doing so, it aims to improve muscle, nerve and joint function, help pain, and enhance the overall well-being of individuals seeking relief.

Adrian Taricani has trained in pulse diagnosis with the incredible Dr Zhang Wei Yan and Dr Robert Doane for the past 8 years.

Adrian Taricani has dedicated himself to mastering this technique.

LIFESTYLE AND DIETARY CONSULTATIONS NEWCASTLE ON POINT NATURAL MEDICINE

Diet and Lifestyle Consultations and Advice

We believe that food is medicine and that certain foods can help to balance the body’s energy, improve digestion, and boost the immune system.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) views dietary and lifestyle advice as essential to treatment. In TCM, the belief is that the body is a holistic system and that imbalances in one area can affect other areas.

Adrian Taricani has dedicated himself to mastering this technique.

Things People Often Ask About Acupuncture

holistic healer 15

Is acupuncture safe?

Yes, acupuncture is generally considered a safe treatment when performed by a licensed practitioner. Acupuncture needles are single-use, sterile, and disposable, which minimizes the risk of infection. However, it is important to disclose any medical conditions or medications you are taking to your practitioner before undergoing acupuncture.

Does acupuncture hurt?

Most people do not feel significant pain during acupuncture. Acupuncture needles are extremely fine and flexible, which allows them to be inserted with minimal discomfort. Some people may feel a slight sensation or pressure during needle insertion, but this is usually brief and not painful. Acupuncture is generally a relaxing and comfortable experience.

How many acupuncture sessions will I need?

The number of acupuncture sessions you may need depends on the nature and severity of your pain. Some people may experience relief after one session, while others may need multiple sessions to achieve optimal results. Your practitioner will work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your individual needs and goals.

Can I receive acupuncture if I'm taking pain medication?

Yes, you can receive acupuncture while taking pain medication. Acupuncture can be used as a complementary therapy to help manage pain alongside medication. However, it is important to disclose any medications or supplements you are taking to your practitioner, as this may impact your treatment plan. Your practitioner may work with you and your healthcare provider to develop a comprehensive pain management plan that includes acupuncture and medication, as appropriate.
